As I looked around at the sea of information about how to set up a website, how to understand social media, how to build a brand image, etc., I realized that many of these “how to” guides were targeted towards people who already knew the lingo.

I wanted to be different. I wanted to create “how to” guides for the folks who want to keep things simple. Folks who know they need SOMETHING and just want to get it started NOW.

Folks who have NO TIME to waste.

As a consultant, I’ve worked with many small businesses, nonprofits, freelancers, and authors who wanted to get themselves online, or wanted to create a consistent brand style, or wanted to improve their writing skills, but didn’t know where to start.

Who am I?

BernadetteGeyer.NLSI’m Bernadette Geyer, founder of Geyer Editorial Services. I’ve consulted for and taught workshops to small business owners, nonprofit managers, freelancers, and authors. I’ve helped people understand the importance of building websites and getting themselves out there on social media.

I’ve worked in marketing ever since it consisted of cold calls and press release faxes to journalists. I built my first website in 1997 and watched the technology change and simplify.
